“Is there anywhere better to be right now than the Paradise Rock Club in Boston?” said Andy Grammer, as he began his Friday the 13th show.

The always expressive Grammer was never still on stage, a famous feature of his live performances. The packed venue was telling of not just the singer’s talent, but his stage presence as well.

Playing through his new songs off the tour’s namesake album “The Good Parts,” he also peppered in some of the older classics. With the audience singing along, Grammer picked “Keep Your Head Up”, “Fine By Me”, and “Back Home.”

In a night full of laughter and a few human moments too, the show concluded with the radio hit, “Honey, I’m Good” and an encore song “The Good Parts,” fitting for the tour.
